Seven steps to securing your dream

  • Complete a short questionnaire to allow us a better understanding of your vision and ensure the next step of meeting in person runs smoothly and maximises our time. Prior to our first meeting you will receive our information pack to let you know more about us and how we can help.

  • On-site meeting to discuss your completed questionnaire and delve deeper into your ideas and vision. We will plan the next steps from here and discuss timeframes, consents, budgeting and materials.

  • Concept drawings undertaken by architect. The approved drawings will be included in the application for council approval. During this time we will provide a preliminary budget estimate and discuss project management as well as everyone's role in the process.

  • Our intention is to give you a fixed priced quote based off the complete documents that will give a true and accurate representation of the build cost. A job schedule with start and completion dates will also be supplied.

  • Once you have accepted the fixed price quote we will sign contracts. The contract will outlay the particulars of the job along with clarification of payments and guarantees.

  • The most exciting part of the journey starts! We will commence works on the agreed start date and throughout the build process will complete weekly site meetings and emailed reports to keep you up to date with works completed, variation notices and how the job is progressing.

  • To uphold our high standards we sign off on our 275 quality control checklist that has been running since day one of the job and covers all aspects of the build and sub-contractor work. 

The Asset Guarantee

As we are members of The New Zealand Master Builders Association, we are pleased to offer the 10 year Master Builders Guarantee in addition to our personal guarantee. This gives you double the security and added assurance for your entire build process and helps us give you a 100% guarantee that your home will be protected and the quality of work will be of the highest standard.

  • Whilst we have a 'clean worksite' policy in place, we understand how exciting it is to be handed the keys to your newly completed dream home, and having it showroom clean when you show it off to family and friends, the perfect way to start your new and improved lifestyle.

  • We are honest, and thorough and stand by our quotes. Any variations will be signed off by you.

    To ensure a level playing field, we can include a free price comparison session after we submit our quote. 

    Our fixed price is relative to the new work that we have scoped and referred to in the quoted documents.

  • Maintaining an effective line of communication throughout the building process is a high priority for us, but can be an area where many other builder & client relationships break down.

  • What makes a good company great is the people behind it, the culture and the attitude.

    Asset Building only uses trusted professionals with the appropriate licences and qualifications to build your home and who align with the company’s core values.

    You will be able to rest easy at night knowing your home was built by people with the right skills, the right experience, and the same standards and values that hold everyone accountable from the top down.

  • At the end of your build, you will receive a completion pack containing information about products and subcontractors involved with your project, along with all the guarantees, producer statements and council documentation for your home. So going forward, you will have all the information you need in one place, and there will be no need to chase anything up should you need it in the future.
